Get help. Hear a reassuring voice. Know help is on the way:
Three things we all want during a health crisis or emergency, and these are the three things offered by our Aspirus Volunteers’ Lifeline program.
When you experience a fall, medical issue, or an emergency, every second counts. If you are alone, a longer time laying on the ground before help arrives may mean a longer recovery. It may also jeopardize your independence.
Lifeline will be the topic of this month’s, “Call About Falls” program. Cheryl Steen, Lifeline Coordinator, is the featured presenter on Oct. 3. This is a free, phone-based learning opportunity to help you or a loved one reduce your risk of falling down. You can listen from the convenience of your own home, or while out-and-about with your mobile phone. We will allow time for questions and answers. Preregistration is needed. Call 715.847.2380 to register.
